The early bird catches the worm as the saying goes.

This saying might have advised the swift move by Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who just signed into law the N338.6 billion Ogun State Appropriation Bill, tagged ‘Budget of Recovery and Sustainability’ for the year 2021.

Abiodun, in a series of tweets early today, stated: “This early progress avails us time to implement the Budget from January, for a speedy return to economic sustainability following the pandemic.

“With the rigorous yet time-conscious passage of the bill, I must appreciate the Ogun State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt. (Hon.) Olakunle Oluomo, for the sustained support that the Executive arm enjoys from the House.”
