Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has appointed Omobayo Marvellous Godwin as Deputy Governor of the state.
This followed the impeachment of Philip Shaibu as Deputy Governor by the Edo State House of Assembly today.
Omobayo Marvellous is a 38-year-old Electrical Electronics Engineering graduate with experience in the oil and gas sector.
Omobayo contested as Labour Party candidate for Federal House of Representatives seat of Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency during the 2023 elections.
