The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has disclosed that God promised him that he will be the greatest and richest man of God in the world.
The influential and globally reverred pastor disclosed this at a programme, Divine Hour, organised by his church at its Redemption Camp, located on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway this morning.
In his sermon at the programme, Adebayo said he entered into a covenant with God in early days of his ministry that he would become the greatest and richest pastor as long as he does God’s will without compromise.
He noted that at the moment, only the Catholic Pontiff could be considered more influential than he is, adding that it is a matter of time before that situation changes.
His words, “…. I have not yet become the greatest but I am on my way. A few years back, a journal, a foreign journal, not a Nigerian journal, listed the names of 50 most powerful men in the world. Only two men of God were included and the two are the Pope and your daddy.
“I am also not yet the richest but I am on the way. As of today, there’s no church in the world that can boast of camp that up to a tenth of the Redemption Camp.”
