Visual Arts Trajectories of Kolade Oshinowo Set for Presentation

The VISUAL ARTS TRAJECTORIES OF KOLADE OSHINOWO, a book authored by over 30 scholars, academics, critics, protegees, enthusiasts, and artists is set for a public presentation.

Edited by Dr Kunle Adeyemi and Dr Olusola Ogunfuwa, with coordinate, respected assessors from the academic towers. The book, a would-be memorabilia, is the proceed of an international conference held in honour of Kolade Adekunle Oshinowo at 70 in 2018 in Lagos, Nigeria.

The book is a must-collect for artists, researchers and other stakeholders who are willing to know more about this great artist in particular, and the Nigerian visual arts industry in general.

The public presentation of the book will hold at the Yusuf Grillo Auditorium, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos on December 13, 2023, starting from 11 am.

According to the organisers, the Chairman for the occasion is the Baale of Ogbogbo, in Ogun State – Omooba Abimbola Adedamola Banjoko; the fathers of the day are Professor Bruce Onobrakpeya and Elder Jerome Elaiho. The Special Guests of Honour are Omooba Engr. Yemisi Shyllon FCA, Chief Afolabi Aribisala SAN, Mr. Billy Osemwegie, and Mr. ‘Wale Fasuyi. The Host is ‘Tunde Aleilo, the CEO Alet Inspirationz, and the Chief Host is Dr. (Engr.) Adedotun Abdul.
