Nigeria Records 595 New COVID-19 Cases, 9 Deaths

Nigeria has recorded 595 new COVID-19 cases, according to figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on July 16.

It also said nine COVID-19 related deaths were recorded same day.

Lagos State recorded the highest number of new cases with 156, followed by Ondo and Rivers States with 95 and 53 respectively.

Total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country is now 34,854, out of which 14,292 people have recovered and 769 have died.
