Nigeria Daily COVID-19 Figure Inches Closer to 1000 as Total Cases Exceed 18,000

Nigeria recorded its highest daily COVID-19 figure today with 745 news cases, raising the total number of cases in the country to 18,480.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) also reported 14 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.

Lagos State has 280 of today’s cases, followed by Oyo State with 103 and Ebonyi and the federal capital territory with 72 and 60 cases respectively.

It added that a total of 6,307 have recovered from the disease while 475 have died.
