A staff of BON Hotel Nest, Ibadan, Oyo State, has died after suffering a heart attack linked to the shock of the bomb explosion in the Bodija area of the city, on Tuesday.
The deceased, Tunde Solomon, was the hotel’s operations manager.
The management of the hotel, in a statement, described him as “a vastly experienced member of staff with over 25 years [experience] in the industry, who made invaluable contributions to the growth of BON Hotel Nest Ibadan and the BON group as a whole during his time.
“The management of BON Hotel Nest Ibadan expressed their heartfelt condolences to Mr. Solomon’s family during this difficult time, and extended their thoughts and prayers to them as they navigate through this challenging period.”
BON Hotel Nest Ibadan is one of the structures that was substantially damaged by the shock wave of the explosion.
