Some masked men suspected to be Yoruba Nation Agitators this afternoon stormed the Oyo Government Secretariat, at Agodi, Ibadan.
The development threw workers and residents of the area into panic, as security operatives on duty were said to have been momentarily overwhelmed.
Men of the state police command and other security agencies, including Amotekun, later arrived the secretariat in several operational vans.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the situation almost turned chaotic as the security operatives engaged in a gun duel with the agitators.
Several teargas cannisters were also fired by security operatives in a bid to subdue the invaders.
An online video shows two of the suspected agitators, wearing what appears like military fatigue, in police custody.
