Anxiety over Akeredolu’s Wife COVID-19 Status

Femi Ashekun/

There is anxiety over the health of the Ondo State first lady, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, following online reports she has tested positive for COVID-19.

The reports also claimed that some other state government officials, including one of the security aides to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, have been infected with the virus.

The governor announced yesterday that he has tested positive for the virus and consequently directed all his aides and appointees to go for COVID-19 tests.

Mrs Akeredolu has reportedly been observing self-isolation for the past few days.
