The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court has launched the Virtual Affidavit Registry Management System (VARMS) mobile application.
Now available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the app enables users worldwide to process affidavits seamlessly within five minutes.
Developed by Axys Systems & Solutions Limited, the VARMS mobile app builds on the success of the earlier web-based Affidavit Registry Management System (ARMS) introduced in 2022. This new mobile version puts justice services directly in users’ hands, offering quicker processing, real-time tracking, and secure QR code verification for every affidavit issued.

Managed by Integrated Intelligent Imaging West Africa Limited (I-CUBE WA) in collaboration with the FCT High Court, the VARMS mobile app underscores the judiciary’s commitment to digital transformation and efficient service delivery. It complements the web-based VARMS platform while incorporating global best practices in judicial digitisation.
The VARMS mobile app enables affidavit issuance in under five minutes, offers a secure QR code for instant digital validation, features a user-friendly interface, and integrates identity verification and payment systems. It also supports real-time video depositions with commissioners of oaths and provides instant notifications and updates throughout the affidavit process.
With the growing demand for accessible legal services, the VARMS app empowers individuals, lawyers, institutions, and government agencies to obtain verified, time-stamped affidavits without requiring physical visits to court registries.
This innovation strengthens the integrity of the affidavit process and aligns with Nigeria’s broader digital transformation agenda in the justice sector.
