The CAC Way-To-Life 2025 Annual Cultural Praises Day was a dazzling celebration of colors, music, and joyful worship on Sunday, June 1.
Held in the church auditorium in Ottawa, Canada, the event featured performances from various tribes and nations, including Togo, Liberia, Ghana, and several Nigerian states. Adorned in vibrant traditional attire, the performers took to the stage with infectious energy, praising God and celebrating the richness of their cultural heritage. The atmosphere was electric, as the diverse groups showcased unity in diversity through dance, music, and worship.

Other denominations, including the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Heaven’s Gate Ministries, also took part in the celebration, adding to the spiritual and cultural vibrancy of the occasion.
A highlight of the day was a powerful testimony from Pastor Francois Machichi and his wife, Solange Mambwe, who shared a touching story of divine kindness and humility. Pastor Machichi recalled receiving approval from the Canadian government to start his church, only to find himself unsure of how to proceed.
It was then that he encountered Pastor Adebowale Adeoye, a man who neither knew him nor spoke his language but stepped in with extraordinary generosity.
“I didn’t know him. He didn’t know me. He didn’t even speak my language. But he assisted me when it really mattered,” Pastor Machichi said. “He not only helped me establish my church, but he also gave me take-off gifts—including a big television.”

Preaching on the theme “Trust in God”, Pastor Machichi drew from 1 Chronicles 14:8–14, encouraging the congregation to put their faith in God in the face of adversity. He reminded them of God’s promise to fight their battles and bring them victory.
The event was a powerful testament to the strength of unity, cultural pride, and Christian love. Pastor Adeoye’s selfless act stood as a shining example of faith in action—one that deeply moved the audience and left a lasting impression.
